About Josette

Josette Luvmour brings a rich background in developmental psychology, family systems, and transpersonal psychology to her work as Director of Programs for EnCompass, the non-profit she co-founded 21 years ago. She is the co-creator of Natural Learning Rhythms. Combining her insights into the consciousness of children with her appreciation of how humans learn she has created and facilitated hundreds of innovative programs in the field of whole family experiential learning.

Josette has co-authored four books with Ba: Natural Learning Rhythms, Everyone Wins (winner of the 1991 Parent's Choice award), Tiger by the Tail and Win-Win Games for All Ages. She has authored many articles, presented at numerous conferences, and helped many adults attain well-being through private consultations. Currently a doctoral candidate at Fielding Graduate University, Josette continues to deepen her understanding of adult development, a subject of passionate interest to her. Her dissertation title is Developing Together: A study of the experience in adults after attempting to meet the child’s developmental needs.

She is skilled in the fabric arts, and enjoys skiing, walking, gardening, and playing with her new granddaughter. She is Ba's wife, colleague, and muse.
